West Ham beat Freiburg and advanced from first place in the group to the 1/8 finals of the Europa League

West Ham defeated Freiburg in the match of the 6th round of the group stage of the Europa League.
The meeting took place in London and ended with a score of 2:0. Midfielders Mohamed Kudus and Edson Alvarez scored goals for the hosts.
The London club took first place in Group A with 15 points. Freiburg finished second (12) and will play in the playoff play-offs.
In another match, Olympiacos defeated the Serbian club Bačka Topola with a score of 5:2 and advanced to the play-offs of the Conference League playoffs.
The draw for the Europa League playoffs will take place on Monday, December 18.
