“Aris” with Kokorin lost at home to “Sparta” in the LE match and ended their performances in European competition

Cypriot Aris lost at home to Sparta Prague in the match of the 6th round of the group stage of the Europa League.
The meeting took place in Limassol and ended with a score of 1:3. Veljko Birmancevic scored a double for the visitors, another goal was scored by striker Jan Kuchta, who previously played for Lokomotiv Moscow. At the end of the match, the hosts pulled one goal back, Leo Bengtsson scored.
Aris took the last 4th place in Group C with 4 points, ending its performance in European competition this season. Sparta rose to second place and advanced to the playoff play-offs with 10 points.
The draw for the next stage of the Europa League will take place on Monday, December 18.
