Former head coach of the Spanish national team Robert Moreno took over Sochi, the official website of the football club reports.
The 46-year-old specialist signed a long-term contract with the Russian club.
Moreno previously served as head coach at Monaco, Granada and the Spanish national team, and he also worked as an assistant at Barcelona, Roma and Celta Vigo.
Sochi takes last place in the MIR RPL standings after 18 rounds, gaining 11 points. Earlier during the season, Dmitry Khokhlov and Alexander Tochilin left the post of head coach of the team.
