Arshavin named two Krasnodar players the best in the first part of the RPL season
Former Zenit and Russian national team footballer Andrei Arshavin called Krasnodar players John Cordoba and Eduard Spertsyan the best in the first part of the WORLD Russian Premier League (RPL) season.
— It seems to me that the best should be chosen from those who come in first place. Today it is Krasnodar. Therefore, I would say Cordoba and Spertsyan. I would also like to mention young Nikita Krivtsov,” Metaratings.ru quotes Arshavin.
Cordoba has played 16 matches in the RPL this season, scored eight goals and provided four assists. Spertsyan also has eight goals and four assists in 18 championship matches.
After 18 rounds, Krasnodar leads the MIR RPL standings, two points ahead of second-placed Zenit. The tournament will resume in March.
