Putin ordered the creation of a training center for Russian national football teams in Sochi

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to ensure the transfer of land in Sochi to the Russian Football Union (RFU) for the construction of a national training center for Russian national football teams.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev were appointed responsible. The deadline for submitting the report is April 30, 2024, then once every six months.

— The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the administration of the Krasnodar Territory and with the participation of public authorities of the federal territory “Sirius”, taking into account previously given instructions, to ensure, based on existing restrictions (including environmental restrictions), the transfer (provision) of land plots located at the address: Krasnodar Territory, Sochi, Adler district, s. Veseloye, the all-Russian public organization of the football sports federation “Russian Football Union” in order to build a national training center for sports teams of the Russian Federation in football, as well as provide the necessary assistance in the creation of such a center, says the order on the Kremlin website.
