Evgeniy Bushmanov: “Jikia needs to look for a new club”

Former Spartak footballer Evgeny Bushmanov believes that Red-White defender Georgy Dzhikia needs to move to another club.
Earlier, RB Sport reported that Krasnodar is ready to consider Jikia’s candidacy if Junior Alonso leaves the team in the winter.
— I think Jikia needs to look for a new club. He needs a new challenge. He had a lot of good things at Spartak, but now he is sitting on the bench. At this age you need to play. Dzhikia is a good quality defender, but now he needs new motivation. There’s no point in sitting at Spartak just like that,” RB Sport quotes Bushmanov as saying.
Dzhikia has been playing for Spartak since 2017. The 30-year-old football player’s contract with the “red and whites” runs until the end of the season.
