Manchester City beat Fluminense 4-0 in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup Final and is the new world champion. Citizens showed all their hierarchy in Saudi Arabia and celebrated thanks to Double Julián Álvarez, Phil Foden and goal against Nino.

Julián Álvarez needed just 40 seconds to make it 1-0, which it did the first goal in the history of the tournament. La Araña got his chest on a ball that bounced off the post after a Nathan Aké shot. Before Fluminense could react, Nino made it 2-0 with an own goal, when he tried to intercept Foden’s cross in the 27th minute.

The second half helped City increase the result. Foden in the 72nd and as center forward pushed a cross from Julian and Arania himself finished the job in the 88th with a low shot from the door of the area.
