The sports director of Akhmat assessed the likelihood of Denis Cheryshev’s transfer
Akhmat sports director Ruslan Gazaev said whether the Grozny club plans to make an offer to Venice midfielder Denis Cheryshev in the summer transfer window.
— We never considered Cheryshev. This does not mean that we are not interested in him, we just did not discuss this candidacy.
In the summer everything will depend on who remains in the team. We currently have this position filled. There is Berisha, Lechi Sadulaev has recovered. I can’t say yet what will happen in the summer,” Gazaev told Metaratings.ru.
This season, 32-year-old Cheryshev played eight matches for Venice, but was not effective. His contract with the Italian club expires on June 30, 2024.
