Fakel goalkeeper Alexander Belenov said that the team’s successful results are more important than personal achievements.

Belenov was recognized as the best player of the Voronezh club in November, receiving 42% of the fan votes.

— In November, you were recognized as Fakel’s best football player, when the team went on a solid unbeaten streak. Were you pleased with this recognition of your contributions to the team’s successes?

— What was more pleasant was that we conceded few goals and gained points. Today I was recognized as the best, tomorrow – someone else. I have a good relationship with all the guys, I try to support everyone, and the most important thing for us is the result of the team. If someone was recognized as the best or was awarded a statuette after the game, we can only rejoice for him together and joke somewhere, but all this is a plus for the team itself,” Belenov told Metaratings.ru.

Fakel ranks 11th in the RPL standings with 21 points after 18 rounds.
