Rinat Bilyaletdinov: “The desire to coach remains. Maybe there will be an option that suits everyone.”

Russian coach Rinat Bilyaletdinov spoke about his desire to return to the work of head coach, but noted that he has no offers yet.

The 66th specialist worked as a head coach at Rubin, SKA-Khabarovsk, Lokomotiv and Khimki.

— Are there any offers to become a head coach? They are not spoken about out loud because there are many incoming moments. A preliminary agreement or negotiation does not mean it is final. In general terms, the parties discuss goals and objectives and take time to think. Of course, any coach wants to use his knowledge and experience, but now is a time when juggling with coaches has become widespread: work for two or three months – goodbye. I will soon celebrate 30 years of coaching, everything has happened: successful facts, but also when it didn’t work out the way I wanted.

The desire to coach remains. Maybe an option will suddenly appear that suits everyone, but it happens when the decision takes several months to mature. It is also necessary that the team be staffed according to the coach’s idea. For me, the league in which I will coach is, of course, important, but not very important. Even at the amateur or media level, you want the team to win something. It is clear that the RPL is a priority for everyone, but in Russia there are 20–30 times more suitable coaches than there are teams there. The main thing is not to lose taste, there are examples: Semin, Gadzhiev, Berdyev,” Bilyaletdinov is quoted as saying by “Championship”.

Barcelona midfielder pedri He answered the question about his attitude towards the new format of the Champions League with the general group stage.

“Do I like the new format of the Champions League? I can’t say with 100% certainty which format I like more: this one or the previous one?”

If I have to choose, I will do something new: There were more matches between strong teams in the first stage,” said Pedri, as quoted by Esquire.

Before the 2024/2025 season, the group stage of the Champions League consisted of eight groups of four clubs each. All participants played six matches in their respective foursomes, home and away, against each of the three opponents.

Martinez explains why Ronaldo is still irreplaceable in the national team

Head coach of the Portuguese national team Roberto Martinez He explained why Cristiano Ronaldo continues to play an important role in the national team.

– There is always a lot of talk around Cristiano Ronaldo. Why does he remain the undisputed starter for the Portuguese national team, even though he will soon be 41?

“It’s all about his attitude towards the profession.” We constantly evaluate three key factors: talent level, accumulated experience and the contribution a player can make to the national team.

Making the highest demands on himself for the benefit of the team allows the captain to maintain his place in the squad. His desire to be the best is passed on to his partners. “The 25 goals he scored in 30 matches as a striker confirms that his play brings tangible benefits to the national team,” he said.
