Yuran spoke about “star fever” during his playing career
The head coach of Paris NN Nizhny Novgorod, Sergei Yuran, said that during his footballer’s career he had “star fever.”
Juran played for Dynamo Kiev, Moscow Spartak, Portuguese Porto and Benfica, English Millwall, German Fortuna and Bochum. He became the champion of the USSR, Russia and Portugal. Juran has seven goals in 40 matches for the national team.
“Once I lost my footing and considered myself a super football player. The one-year-old from the double stopped perceiving. Not small – such a confident star. At that moment, Andrei Bal, the kingdom of heaven, Demyanenko and Bessonov helped me well. I have already trained with the Dynamo first team. They are all megastars there, collections. And I just started playing as a substitute and already decided that it was super-duper. The old people saw this and once slapped him on the head in the shower. They explained what was what. And again I felt the land with my legs. I am very grateful to them for this lesson. Otherwise I would have returned to Zarya and finished there.
Now there is no continuity as there was before. The coach didn’t need to bark again. He knew: adults would figure it out and give advice. And why all? For the old people, bonuses were in the foreground. And in order to earn these 50 rubles, you had to chew the result on your teeth, and not put your feet down. If someone took off into the clouds, they landed with a slap on the head,” Yuran is quoted as saying by “Championship.”
