The match for the Turkish Super Cup between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce has been cancelled, Match TV reports, citing the organizers of the game in Riyadh.
The starting whistle was supposed to sound at 20:45 Moscow time. The date when the game will take place is still unknown.

According to media reports, the reason for the cancellation of the match was the ban by the Saudi Arabian authorities on the use of a banner with the motto of the founder of the modern Turkish state, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, “Peace at home – peace in the world.” This decision did not suit Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
