Russian midfielder Denis Glushakov answered the question whether he is ready to continue his career in Rostov.

The day before, RB Sport reported that the 36-year-old football player decided to leave Spartak Kostroma, with whom he signed a one-year contract in September 2023. At the same time, the club itself told Match TV that the midfielder is an active player on the team.

— Is your future now connected with Rostov?

– No, we just agreed with Valery Georgievich [Карпиным — ред.]that I’m going to go train.

— A medical examination does not mean that a contract will be signed?

– Time will tell, let’s not guess.

— Are you ready to return to the RPL WORLD, play in Rostov?

– Ready, not ready – only time will tell. And so, I talked to Valery Georgievich and told them to revive me after beach soccer, after everything. It will be nice to train – I know his training process, his requirements. I don’t know yet whether it will be for the entire duration of the training camp,” RB Sport quotes Glushakov as saying.

Glushakov played 6 matches last season and made one assist.

Previously in the RPL, Glushakov played for Lokomotiv, Spartak, Akhmat, Khimki and PARI NN. He is the 2017 Russian champion as a member of the “red-whites” and a participant in the 2014 World Cup as a member of the Russian national team.
