Golovin’s assist did not save Monaco from defeat in the Ligue 1 match with Reims

Monaco lost to Reims in the home match of the 18th round of the French football championship.
The meeting ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of Reims. The winners included Teddy Theuma, Reda Khadra and Azor Matusiwa. Monaco’s only goal was scored by Wissam Ben Yedder, assisted by Russian Alexander Golovin.
Monaco is in third place in the standings with 33 points, Reims (29) has moved up to fifth place.
In the next round, Monaco will go to Marseille on January 27, Reims will host Nantes the next day.
