Former deputy general director of Spartak Vladimir Kuzmichev believes that the Moscow club will be able to act more diversified in attack in the event of the transfer of Costa Rican striker Manfred Ugalde.

Spartak finished the first part of the RPL season in fifth place in the standings, gaining 30 points. Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the club sent an official proposal for the transfer of Ugalde to the Dutch Twente.

— Most likely, Spartak wants to be varied in attack. The Red and Whites need more than just a big striker. What I’ve seen of Ugalde is worth watching, that’s for sure.

— Do you think this transfer is possible?

— Possible, because for Twente this is a very interesting deal. It could become a record for the club. Money decides a lot for Dutch clubs, so Ugalde’s transfer to Spartak can take place,” RB Sport quotes Kuzmichev.

21-year-old Ugalde has played 25 matches for Twente this season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists. He has six caps for the Costa Rican national team and scored one goal.
