“Jikia will not go unnoticed by the leading RPL clubs” – Byshovets
Honored Coach of the USSR Anatoly Byshovets expressed the opinion that Spartak defender Georgy Dzhikia will not go unnoticed by the leading MIR RPL clubs if he becomes a free agent in the summer.
Dzhikia has been playing for Spartak since 2017. The 30-year-old defender’s contract runs until June 30 of this year. This season, the footballer has lost his place in the main team of the “red-whites”.
— Dzhikia is a professional, captain of Spartak, player of the Russian national team, so I see no reason to complain about him in terms of playing qualities and dedication on the field. Given what his agent said and what we saw throughout the season in his relationship with Abascal, I think there is some conflict between coach and player.
Time will judge who is right, who is wrong and who ends up where. George’s future at the moment will depend only on him. He is an independent and self-sufficient person with a big name. I believe that as a free agent he will not remain unnoticed by the leading clubs of the Russian Premier League,” Legalbet quotes Byshovets as saying.
After 18 rounds, Spartak ranks fifth in the WORLD RPL standings. The Russian football championship season will resume in March.
