In Norway, an ex-footballer died of a heart attack on the day he started his new job

Former Norwegian youth national team player Munir Hamoud died of a heart attack, the press service of the Strømsgodset football club reports.
Hamoud retired from his professional career in 2019 after 15 years of playing in Norway. The main clubs for him were Bude-Glimt and Strömsgodset.
According to VG, after retiring as a footballer, he received a bachelor’s degree in cognitive psychology and a master’s degree in education with a specialization in talent development from the University of Oslo.
Hamoud received a position at Norwegian club Stromsgodset’s player development academy, but died on the day he was due to start his new job.
