The ex-CEO of Spartak believes that the club can profitably sell midfielder Martins
Former general director of Spartak Yuri Zavarzin believes that the management of the Moscow club can profitably sell the team’s midfielder Christopher Martins.
Earlier, the media reported that the “red-whites” refused to sell the Luxembourg national team player to Besiktas. The 27-year-old midfielder’s contract runs until the summer of 2026. This season, Martins has played 24 matches in all competitions, scored three goals and provided three assists.
— Since the sports block decided that it was necessary to sell Martins, then it was necessary. It can be sold profitably. Considering how Zenit is preparing for the season, nothing will help Spartak anyway. St. Petersburg residents will not give first place to anyone,” RB Sport quotes Zavarzin as saying.
