Atletico Madrid forward Antonio Griezmann I got injured for the first time in two years.
This happened in the round of 16 of the Champions League against Inter (0:1). The player was forced to leave the pitch in the 78th minute. It later became known that the Frenchman had been diagnosed with a moderate ankle sprain.
The player will miss the second leg of the Spanish Cup semi-final against Athletic (first leg – 0:1). Griezmann hopes to recover by March 13th to play the return match against Inter. A medical examination has shown that this is possible, Atlético intends to act with caution.
Since January 2022, the Frenchman has avoided injuries, then suffered muscle damage.
