Footballer Ankeye refused the Russian club for Genoa – agent

Forward David Ankeye received an offer from a Russian club in the winter transfer window, but decided to sign a contract with the Italian Genoa, football agent Leonid Istrati said.
Ankeye moved from Moldavian Sheriff to Genoa at the end of January.
— There was an official offer from a good club from the RPL for Ankeya. We almost agreed, but an offer came from Genoa,” Istrati said.
Ankeya is 21 years old. This season, the Nigerian has played 25 matches, scored eight goals and provided an assist.
