Fedotov hopes that CSKA defender Diveev avoided serious injury in the match with Rostov
CSKA head coach Vladimir Fedotov, after the victory over Rostov in the Russian Cup match, said that he hopes that defender Igor Diveev does not suffer a serious injury.
On Tuesday, CSKA defeated Rostov and, on aggregate, advanced to the quarter finals of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup (1:1, 2:0). “Rostov” will continue to fight for the trophy in the Path of Regions. Diveev was replaced in the 58th minute. When leaving the field, the football player limped on his right leg. Since July, Diveev has been recovering from an ankle injury; the game with Rostov was his third in March after returning to action.
“We hope it’s nothing serious.” These are post-symptoms of a long absence. It happens. It feels like there is nothing supernatural yet, so be it. Let’s hope that everything turned out well,” Match TV quotes Fedotov.
