Originally from Dagestan Amir Ibragimov played his first match for the England U16 national team.
The striker scored his debut goal for the national team in a friendly match with Italy, scoring in the 84th minute. This goal became the winning goal for the English (2:1).
Ibragimov’s family moved from Russia to England when the footballer was 11 years old. Amir, 16, plays for Manchester United’s U18 team.
