Hummels is the oldest German to score a goal in the knockout stages of the Champions League

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels he became the oldest German player to score a goal in the Champions League playoffs (35 years and 143 days).

He is also the third youngest player to score in the semi-final Champions League After Ryan Giggs (37 years and 148 days) e Edina Dzeko (37 years and 54 days).

Hummels’ previous goal for Borussia Dortmund in the tournament was more than 11 years ago – in a duel with Shakhtar in 2013.
