Ex-footballer of the Russian national team Pavel Mamaev noted that he changed a lot when he met his wife Nadezhda Sanko.
Mamaev ended his playing career in February 2023. Together with Dynamo forward Fedor Smolov, he opened a football academy in Dubai.

In early May, it became known that the couple were expecting a second child. The couple is already raising a son, Timofey, who was born in June 2022.
