Lorient have announced the appointment of the former Arsenal and French national team defender Laurana Koscielny sporting director of the club.
At the end of last season, the team finished 17th in the French league and were relegated to Ligue 2.
Koscielny played for Lorient from 2009 to 2010. Retired in 2022.
