The Hungarian team defeated the Scotland team in the match of the third round of the group stage of the European Football Championship.
The Group A meeting took place in Stuttgart and ended with a score of 1:0. Kevin Chobot scored the goal in the 10th minute of stoppage time in the second half.
In the 68th minute, Hungarian forward Barnabas Varga received a serious injury after being hit in the head by Scots goalkeeper Anjus Gunn in a horse fight. The football player was screened from spectators and video cameras, and later the player was taken from the field on a stretcher wearing an oxygen mask.
The Scottish team took last place in the quartet with one point and became the second team to be eliminated from the tournament. Earlier, the Poles left EURO 2024 early.
