Former Dynamo Moscow footballer Dmitry Cheryshev called goalkeeper Anton Shunin’s departure from the team logical.
Dynamo announced this week that 37-year-old Shunin had left the team due to the expiration of his contract. He spent 17 seasons with the White-Blues.
— The fact that Shunin spent so many years at Dynamo says a lot. All these years he was trusted, he was a player in the main team. Here we are talking more about history, and not about the player himself and his qualities. I think we can say that Anton is a Dynamo legend.
Shunin is a good goalkeeper, but it’s time for a change of generations, new players. However, it won’t surprise me if we see Anton in the goal of another Premier League team, Legalbet quotes Cheryshev as saying.
