Zenit newcomer midfielder Maxim Glushenkov addressed his critics.
In July, 24-year-old Glushenkov transferred to the St. Petersburg club from Lokomotiv. The footballer signed a four-year contract with the blue-white-blues with the possibility of extending it for another season.
“Dear clowns, everything is fine at Zenit,” Glushenkov said in a video published on social media by his girlfriend Anna Nechaeva.
Glushenkov is a product of the Chertanovo Academy. Last season, the footballer became the best assistant in the RPL, making 16 assists. Previously, he also played for Moscow Spartak, Samara Krylia Sovetov and Moscow Region Khimki.
