The English Football Association has clarified that the national team manager Gareth Southgate can continue to work if he wants and will wait for confirmation from him. The European Championship has reportedly never been a deciding factor.
However, Southgate is ready to leave the England team. The 53-year-old Englishman will reject the offer to extend his contract, which runs until December this year. Southgate made his decision before the Euros and the defeat in the final against Spain convinced him of the correctness of his choice.
