Coach Pyatibratov: “If Chaika enters the RPL after this season, it will be 99% doomed”

It is too early for the Chaika football club to think about playing in the RPL, said Dmitry Pyatibratov, head coach of the team from the Rostov region.

Chaika has scored seven points in the first three rounds of the MELBET First League and is in second place in the tournament table. Last season, the team played in the Second League.

— The most important thing is to get as close as possible to the Premier League teams in terms of organization, skill, and staffing. When I headed Fakel, I saw how the work in the RPL is structured, what the coaching process is like there. It should be the same for us. There are no nuances — the team and the club must be ready for achievements together. There are many components in which Chaika needs to improve.

We understand that if we enter the Premier League after this season, we will be doomed 99%. We are not ready yet, neither in terms of speed, nor mentally, nor structurally. So the main task is to gradually approach the quality of play of the RPL teams, – Pyatibratov told Betonmobile.
