Former head coach of the CSKA youth team Alexander Grishin believes that striker Ivan Oleynikov will bring the necessary qualities to the game of Krylia Sovetov.
On August 5, Krylia Sovetov announced the transfer of Oleynikov from Akhmat. The 25-year-old forward signed a three-year contract with the Samara club.
“I think he will suit Igor Osinkin’s system because he is an extraordinary player who can beat one-on-one and is good at attacking. I think that Krylia Sovetov lacks exactly this kind of player, but Oleynikov still needs to integrate into the new team,” Grishin was quoted as saying by “Championship”.
In the next round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Wings of the Soviets will host Voronezh Fakel on August 11.
