PAOK lost to Malmo in Champions League qualification, Chalov debuted for Greek club

Greek PAOK suffered a defeat to Malmo in the return match of the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

The regular time of the match in Thessaloniki ended with a score of 3:3. Taison, Kostas Koulierakis and Andrija Zivkovic scored for PAOK. Sebastian Nanasi scored twice for Malmö, and Nils Zetterström also scored. In the second half, Russian striker Fedor Chalov made his debut for PAOK, appearing on the field in the 73rd minute. The Greek club’s midfielder Magomed Ozdoev was substituted in the 72nd minute.

In extra time, Malmö midfielder Anders Christiansen scored, bringing his team a 6–5 aggregate victory.

Malmö have advanced to the play-off round of the Champions League qualification, while PAOK will continue their fight in the final round of the Europa League qualification.

Chalov moved to PAOK at the beginning of August.
