Rostov midfielder Konstantin Kuchaev explained why the team manages to play two different halves.
On Tuesday, Rostov beat Khimki 3-1 in a home match of the second round of the group stage of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup Path. Valery Karpin’s team earned three points and rose to second place in the Group B standings.
— How can you explain that Rostov has two different halves in two matches in a row? We try to play quite intensively, so, of course, in the second half our reserves of strength are depleted, it becomes a little harder. But we will work to make sure that we have enough for the entire 90 minutes, — Kuchaev told RB Sport.
Rostov will play their next match at home on August 17 against Orenburg as part of the fifth round of the MIR RPL.
