Dynamo CEO Calls Lichka’s Decision to Make Gladyshev Captain for Russian Cup Match Strong
Dynamo General Director Pavel Pivovarov assessed the team’s coaching staff’s decision to give the captain’s armband to forward Yaroslav Gladyshev in the FONBET Russian Cup match against Dynamo Makhachkala.
On Wednesday, Moscow Dynamo beat Makhachkala Dynamo 2-1 at home in the second round of the group stage of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup Path. 21-year-old Gladyshev took to the field with the captain’s armband.
“I liked Lichka’s decision to make Gladyshev captain for the match against Makhachkala Dynamo – it was strong. It motivated Yaroslav, he scored the winning goal. Can anyone be blamed for that?” Sport24 quotes Pivovarov as saying.
After two rounds of the Russian Cup, Dynamo is in second place in the Group A table with three points.
