Verona beat Genoa, Monza and Fiorentina draw in third round of Italian championship
Verona beat Genoa away in the third round of the Italian football championship.
The match took place in Genoa and ended with a score of 2:0. Jackson Tchatchoua and Kasper Tengstadt (penalty) scored for the visitors.
In another match of the third round, Fiorentina tied with Monza – 2:2. The hosts responded to goals from Milan Djuric and Daniel Maldini with precise strikes from Moise Kean and Robin Gosens.
Verona have six points and are fourth in the standings. Genoa have four points and are in 10th place. Fiorentina are 11th with three points and Monza are 15th with two points.
The teams will play their next matches on September 15. Verona will play away to Lazio, Fiorentina to Atalanta, Genoa to host Roma, and Monza to host Inter.
