“Nobody expected this, I’m here.” Dzyuba addressed the fans of “Akron”
Akron newcomer Artem Dzyuba recorded a video message to the fans of the Togliatti club, inviting them to the team’s next home match in the MIR RPL.
On Thursday, Akron announced the signing of a contract with 36-year-old Dzyuba. The agreement with the forward is calculated until the end of the 2024/25 season.
On September 15, in the eighth round of the RPL, Akron will host Khimki in Samara.

We need a victory, without your support it will be very difficult. Come. I hope I’ll be there too, — Dzyuba said in a video published in Telegram channel “Akron”.
Dzyuba is the top scorer in the history of the Russian championships, with 160 goals to his name. The footballer was a free agent after leaving Lokomotiv at the end of last season.
