Barcelona midfielder Frankie de Jong spent part of the training with the team. Today’s training was of a restorative nature (after Sunday’s victory over Girona). The midfielder also did half of the training Gavi.
Recall that de Jong joined Barcelona from Ajax in the summer of 2019. His contract runs until June 2026. Last season, the 27-year-old central midfielder played 30 games in all competitions, scored 2 goals and received 10 yellow cards. Due to injury, de Jong has not played since April of this year. The Transfermarkt portal values the Dutchman at 70 million euros.
