Zenit midfielder Mantuan named best player of RPL match against Fakel
Midfielder of St. Petersburg Zenit Gustavo Mantuan was recognized as the best player of the match of the ninth round of the MIR RPL against Voronezh Fakel.
The match, which took place on Saturday in St. Petersburg, ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the hosts. Mantuan appeared on the field after the break and helped the team to a comeback victory. In the 52nd minute, the Brazilian assisted Colombian Mateo Cassierra, who scored Zenit’s first goal in the match.
The “Best Player of the Match” award is presented after each RPL game; the winners are selected jointly by the league and the MATCH PREMIER TV channel.
