Akron defender Rodrigo Escoval spoke about the emotional reaction of Togliatti head coach Zaurbek Tedeev to the team’s results.
Tedeev has been working as the head coach of Akron since December 2023. Following the results of last season, the specialist managed to lead the club to the RPL.
– Tedeev is a very emotional person. Zaur Eduardovich sees how we want to win every match. He experiences every moment with the players. Sometimes coaches in football are too emotional – bottles fly in the locker rooms after the match. But we have never had this, – Eskoval told Metaratings.ru.
On Saturday, Akron lost to Krasnodar with a score of 2:5 in a home match of the 9th round of the MIR RPL.
After nine matches, the Togliatti club is in 11th place in the RPL standings, having scored 8 points. In the next round, on September 28, Tedeev’s team will play away against Rostov.
