Moscow’s Spartak and Dynamo demonstrated European-level football in a Russian championship match, said Russian coach Valery Nepomnyashchy.

The 9th round match of the MIR RPL took place on Sunday at the Lukoil Arena and ended with a score of 2:2, the “white-blues” came back while short-handed in the added time of the second half thanks to a goal by Konstantin Tyukavin.

— Spartak couldn’t defend their victory in the game against Dynamo with the majority. What do you think?

— I liked this game both for its level and drama. Tyukavin scored at the very end. This match had it all. We watched football of a completely European level.

— And what is the result of the case?

“Strangely enough, it is fair. Dynamo managed to equalize the score while short-handed. If the visitors had scored a third goal and won, then the score would not have been fair,” Euro-Football.Ru quotes Nepomnyashchy as saying.

After nine rounds of the RPL, Spartak has 16 points and is in fifth place in the standings, while Dynamo (17) is one line higher.
