Former goalkeeper of the Dynamo football club Vladimir Gabulov said that he could not name the reason why the Moscow club cannot win trophies.

The last time Dynamo won the league title was in 1976. The club won its last trophy in 1995 – the Russian Cup.

— The Blue and White came very close to the championship last year. But again something was missing. It’s difficult to judge from the outside. Often, managers and coaching staff, when something is missing, do not always draw the right conclusions. They first of all look for the reason in the football players, and then in something else. I am not a supporter of this position, because football is not played by names, but by people with whom you need to work, whom you need to prepare, whom you need to target, and only then demand from them. And when all these factors and all conditions are met, then the result happens. And then you always need a little more luck and, let’s say, luck (laughs).
