Former head coach of Orenburg David Deogracia may return to the structure of the football club after the appointment of Vladimir Slishkovic, reports Sport24.
“Orenburg” announced the resignation of Spaniard Deogracia on September 27. At that time, the team was 14th in the MIR RPL standings, and in the FONBET Russian Cup they lost all five matches in the group and lost their chances of reaching the playoffs. On Monday, Sliskovic was appointed head coach of the team.
According to Sport24, Sliskovich signed a contract for a period of two years, and Deogracia may soon return to work with the Orenburg youth team.
Deogracia has headed the Orenburg club since August 2023. Last season, under his leadership, the team finished in 12th place in the standings. Before this appointment, he worked in the Orenburg structure.
