Glushakov called Arshavin the best Russian football player in the 21st century

Forward Andrei Arshavin is the best Russian football player of the 21st century, said former Russian national team midfielder Denis Glushakov.
Arshavin played professionally from 1999 to 2018 for Zenit, London Arsenal, Kuban and Kairat (Kazakhstan).
— Do you agree that Andrei Arshavin is the best Russian football player of the 21st century?
– Probably yes. But I can mention many more – Golovin, Miranchuk, Pavlyuchenko, Bilyaletdinov. Those who played in Europe,” Glushakov told RB Sport.
Arshavin is one of the most famous Russian football players in the whole world. Known for his performances for St. Petersburg Zenit and London Arsenal. As part of the Russian club, the midfielder became the national champion three times and won the Russian Cup, UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup once each. He also won bronze medals at the 2008 European Championship and was among the nominees for the Ballon d’Or award.
