“We believe in our idea.” Barcelona head coach Flick talks about the victory over Real Madrid

Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick said that he was pleased with the actions of his team in the match of the 11th round of the Spanish championship against Real Madrid.

The meeting took place in Madrid and ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of the guests. Robert Lewandowski scored a double (54th and 56th minutes), Lamin Yamal (77) and Rafinha (84) also scored.

“We started the match very well, we played great in the first half. The defense played high, it seemed risky, but it wasn’t. It worked. During the break we made the right decisions. The players did a very good job. They showed their skills. Everyone knew what to do both in attack and defense. I always say that we like to get better. Today was not easy, but we defended well. We believe in our idea. We need to continue in the same spirit. During the break we made a change and started to put more pressure. In the second half we controlled the ball more. This is exactly what I was talking about. I always look at the team’s performance and whether we followed the plan – today it worked. I am pleased with what we have achieved,” Marca quotes Flick.

Barcelona continues to lead the La Liga standings with 30 points, Real Madrid (24) is second.

In the next match, the blue garnets will host Espanyol on November 3; Carlo Ancelotti’s team will play away against Valencia the day before.

Musaev revealed Krasnodar’s plans for winter training

Head coach of Krasnodar Murad Musaev shared the team’s plans for winter training:

The work ahead is hard. Six games are scheduled during the training camp (from 14 to 28 January). The training program doesn’t change much. Everyone knows more or less what we will do.

Ideally I would like to play against foreign teams, but so far one opponent is from Kazakhstan, the rest from Russia. Strong opponents, but I would like some variety.

A match with Zenit is scheduled, there is an agreement on the 120 minute format. This is an important match because we have a lot of guys who need to train and some who have returned from injury.
