Fiorentina head coach’s mother died before Italian championship match
Fiorentina head coach Raffaele Palladino’s mother died before the Italian championship match, the press service of the Italian football club reports.
The club from Florence will play away against Bologna on Sunday, December 15. The match of the 16th round of Serie A will begin at 17:00 (Moscow time).
“The entire Fiorentina team and club have rallied around Raffaele and express our sincere condolences on the death of his mother Rosa,” the statement said.
Palladino is 40 years old, an Italian specialist who has been heading Fiorentina since June 2024.
