Barcelona intends to refuse transfers during the winter window
Barcelona does not intend to sign new players during the European winter transfer window, Mundo Deportivo reports.
According to the source, the Catalan club still suffers from financial problems that have accumulated by the beginning of the 2020s. With no purchases planned during the winter window, Barcelona will also refuse to sell players unless they receive an exceptionally lucrative offer.
The Catalans do not intend to let go even those who want to leave due to lack of match practice. These include defender Eric Garcia and midfielder Ansu Fati. Garcia has played 10 matches in the current Lee League season and scored one assist, while Fati has four games without scoring.
Barcelona is in first place in the Spanish league with 38 points from 18 games.
