Zenit won a convincing victory over Spartak in the Winline Winline final of the RPL Winter Cup. All questions about the winner were removed even before the break after three goals performed by Luis Enrique, Wendel and Mateo Kascerra.

The most striking episode of the meeting was the removal of Act of Stankovich, who failed to restrain emotions in the second half. The Serbian coach inspected the meeting on the rostrum in the company of Sergei Semak.

The outcome of the meeting was decided even before the break. The difference in the class between the mixed composition of Spartak and the basis of Zenit was too obvious. In an unusual combination, the Stankkovich team could not offer anything in the attack and was constantly mistaken at its gate. Spartak will spend the final stage of preparation for the spring part of the season in Turkey, and the freshly baked winner of the Winter Cup will remain in Abu Dabi until February 23. The next time, fundamental rivals will play as part of the championship: one of the key matches of the season will be held in Moscow on March 16.
