The change of head coach and the restructuring of the scheme, according to the journalist L’Equipe Sebastian Buron, made Kuzyaev less in demand. Despite professionalism and good shape, it “does not fit into the game model”, and its high salary (according to L’équipe – 80 thousand euros per month, the highest in the club) has become an additional factor that reduces the motivation to use it more often.

Until January, Kuzyaev still spent 12 matches and scored one goal, but on January 5, in a visiting game with Marseille (1: 5), the Russian received damage. From that moment – 0 minutes on the field. First due to recovery, then by decision of the head coach Didier Digar.
Why does Kuzyaev train, but not play?
The father of the midfielder Adyam Kuzyaev told Match TV that his son has been working in the common group for a long time and is ready to help the team.
– Daler trains in the general group, functionally feels great. I spent a week with him and saw him in work. It looks powerful, ready to help the team. The coach brings him to the application, but there is still a certain discomfort after an injury, ”said Kuzyaev Sr. Match TV.
The paradoxical situation: the football player is physically ready, but seven matches in a row sits on a bench. The problem, apparently, is comprehensive: discomfort after injury, a change in the role in the team and the lack of trust from the coach. As a result, Daler is on the sidelines even at a crisis moment for the club-Gavr two rounds before the end of the season and is in the area of the butt matches.
What awaits Kuzyaev at the end of the contract?
Kuzyaev’s contract with Gavr is valid until the end of June, and now nothing indicates that it will be extended. Journalist Buron directly says: “I don’t think he will remain. He plays too little, and his salary is too high for the club. ”
If Gavr does not offer Kuzyaev to extend the contract, then Daler will have two ways: try to find a club in Europe or return to Russia. The first scenario is not so easy to implement, since during the time in the “Gavra” the quotes of Daler probably decreased. He left Zenit at a peak: with a title, with full self -confidence and interest from Europe. Now the midfielder has no game practice in the League Autsider team 1.
