38 -year -old goalkeeper Wayne Hennessy has announced the end of his career.
I am grateful for the past and look to the future, planning new steps. I still have remarkable memories of shows for clubs and the national team.
I started in Wolverhampton, I played for Crystal Palace, Bernley and Nottingham Forest. It was an honor for me to play in the Premier League and represent the Wales team more than 100 times. The summer of 2016 became the peak of my career: I went to the final of the England Cup with Palace and the euro semifinals with my favorite Wales team.
I thank the fans, the coaches, the medical staff and the goalkeeper Trade Union for the support. It was an honor for me to play the highest level and represent my country.
