Lokomotiv midfielder Sergei Pinyaev headed the rating of the best young players of Eastern Europe (players no over 21 years old) according to the version of the International Center for Sports Research (CIES FOOTBALL OBSERVATORY).

The third place on this list was taken by the midfielder of CSKA and the Russian national team Matvey Kislyak.
